Steve Burns is a Senior Engineer at EAC Network Solutions, joining the team in July 2022. With a strong focus on cybersecurity and network security, Steve plays a key role in protecting client environments and helping organisations build resilient, secure IT infrastructures.

Steve leads on cybersecurity initiatives within EAC, including helping develop and deliver services such as Cyber Essentials and other compliance-focused solutions. His work has been instrumental in enabling EAC to support professional services organisations that require high levels of regulatory compliance and robust security standards as part of their managed IT support.

Alongside his technical expertise, Steve is a valued mentor within the engineering team, sharing his knowledge and supporting colleagues as they develop their skills in networking, security, and best practice approaches to protecting client systems.
Outside of work, 2026 is shaping up to be a particularly exciting year for Steve as he prepares to marry his fiancée Catherine and welcome their first child. When he’s not immersed in technology, Steve enjoys spending time fishing and making the most of the outdoors.
