Hackers exploited a Zimbra mail flaw before a fix existed
The Register reports that Microsoft identified attackers exploiting a vulnerability in Zimbra mail server software weeks before the flaw had been formally catalogued with a CVE reference. According to the report, this means the exploitation was already under way before any patch or public advisory existed.
